In partnership with Lantern Entertainment, IRA Capital acquired the assets of The Weinstein Company through a bankruptcy process, which included its award-winning 277-film library and other television assets including Project Runway. Lantern and former MGM CEO Gary Barber subsequnetly formed a joint-venture to launch Spyglass Media Group in collaboration with other strategic investors including Eagle Pictures, Cineworld, and Warner Brothers.
