Entertainment. Sports. Media.

IRA invests across a broad spectrum of entertainment, media, and sports platforms, combining asset-backed strategies with operating company investments to capitalize on the growing global demand for premium content and live experiences. The platform targets opportunities where intellectual property, production infrastructure, and distribution capabilities converge to create scalable, defensible value.

The strategy spans studio real estate, soundstage and production infrastructure, content development and financing, media rights, and strategic partnerships with experienced operators and creative leadership teams. IRA seeks to align with proven producers, studios, and management teams that possess strong track records, established distribution relationships, and identifiable pipelines of content. By focusing on both physical production assets and underlying intellectual property, the platform captures value across multiple points in the entertainment value chain.

In sports and experiential investments, IRA evaluates opportunities tied to venue infrastructure, league participation, media rights monetization, and brand-driven platforms that benefit from durable fan engagement and long-term media consumption trends. The firm believes that the continued globalization of content, the proliferation of streaming platforms, and sustained consumer demand for live experiences create compelling structural tailwinds across the sector.

IRA Ventures applies disciplined underwriting, structured downside protection where appropriate, and strategic alignment with industry-leading partners to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns. Through this integrated approach, the platform seeks to build a diversified portfolio of media, entertainment, and sports investments positioned for long-term growth and value creation across evolving distribution channels.

Featured Transaction: Spyglass Media Group

IRA Capital, in collaboration with Lantern Entertainment LLC, acquired the assets of The Weinstein Company through a structured bankruptcy process. Lantern Entertainment was newly formed to pursue the acquisition, which included an award-winning 277-title film library and notable television assets such as Project Runway. The transaction represented a unique opportunity to acquire premium intellectual property and established content assets at an attractive basis.

Subsequently, Lantern partnered with former MGM CEO Gary Barber to form a joint venture that relaunched Spyglass Media Group. IRA Capital and other strategic investors — including Eagle Pictures, Cineworld, and Warner Bros. — participated in the recapitalization and growth of the newly formed studio platform.

Through Lantern Entertainment, IRA made a majority investment in Spyglass Media Group, including ownership of its film library. The transaction positioned the platform to leverage an extensive content portfolio, established industry relationships, and a renewed development slate to generate long-term value across film, television, and ancillary distribution channels.
