Mohannad S. Malas
Mr. Malas is a Principal and Co-Founder of IRA Capital. His responsibilities include raising equity for IRA’s private funds and syndicated offerings, while overseeing the firm’s overall investment strategy. Mr. Malas is also the President and CEO of Dana Investments, a full service real estate operating company he established in 1984. Throughout his career, Mr. Malas has been directly involved in the acquisition, financing, management, development, and disposition of more than $1 Billion of real estate across all product types. Dana Investments’ current portfolio consists of approximately $100 Million of retail and office properties throughout Georgia, Florida, Colorado, and California.
Mr. Malas received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Manitoba-Winnipeg, Canada. He is also an attendee of YPO’s Executive Program at Harvard Business School. Mr. Malas is a licensed Real Estate Broker in California, Colorado, and Georgia. He is actively involved in numerous leadership and executive organizations including YPO/WPO (Young President’s Organization/World President Organization), and CEO (Chief Executive Organization). He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Claremont Graduate University in Pomona, CA, on the Board of Trustees of the University of California Irvine Foundation in Irvine, CA, and on the Board of directors of the California Charitable Foundation. He is a “Visionary Founder” of UCI Applied Innovation, and a lifetime founding member for the Mission Hospital Foundation.
